Mind those Ps and Qs

MetM5When I grow up I dream of being a p-p-performer. The West-End will be my stage, Broadway my p-p-playground. So how do my p-p-parents feed my ambitions? By sending me to Mini P-P-Peas, of course. (Its spelled Mini-Ps. Grown-ups. I tell you – why does everything have to be so complicated?)

At 25 minutes long for the crawlers, this class is shorter than most, but its p-p-packed full of p-p-punch. We listened to lovely music, shook instruments to the beat, danced (or in the language of my dreams, “choreographed movements”) and other theatrical hi-jinx. I even p-p-pulled faces. All this will build my confidence and my stage p-p-presence. In short, it was a p-p-party!

With the Ps down pat, I need to work on my solilo-Q.

Moi says:
Sick of only seeing high drama at bed-time? Let your little diva (or dramatist) put those skills to good use in Perform’s classes for younger siblings. A relaxed and fun class, Mini-Ps keeps the standards high by choosing modern and pleasant halls and energetic and lively teachers – or that certainly was the case in St John’s Wood. (Be warned though – the class starts at 9:25am, leaving little time beforehand to warm up those vocal chords.)

Classes take place in Barnes, Dulwich , Hampstead, Notting Hill, Pimlico, St Albans, St John’s Wood and West Ealing. Fees for a ten-week course start at £75.00. Sign up online for a free trial. To learn more visit Mini-Ps.
